A New Threat to Our Planet

Most people now understand the dangers we all face from the uncontrolled emission of the lethal pollutant - Carbon Dioxide.

It is less well known that there is another gas which forms an infinitely greater part of our planet's atmosphere and has properties far more devastating to human life than even CO2.

Very few people are aware of the ways in which this all pervasive and insidious gas threatens our very existence.

Did you know that:-

Nitrogen is the key ingredient in all explosives used by the US armed forces in their attacks on innocent civilians around the world.

For two hundred years scientists have known that animals given Nitrogen to breathe die within minutes.

Dissolved Nitrogen in the bloodstream is a major cause of agonising death in divers.

There is now more of this lethal gas in the air we breathe than essential, life-giving Oxygen.

Nitrogen can combine with Oxygen to form Nitrous Oxide (chemical formula N2O) - inhalation of which causes uncontrolled behaviour followed by unconsciousness and even death.

Nitrogen is deliberately added to the soil in which most of our food is grown by profit greedy farmers.

Unscrupulous commercial trucking companies in the US are using Nitrogen in their truck tyres to save money - so that everytime a truck gets a puncture more Nitrogen is released into the atmosphere.

It is time to make a stand against the way that negligent world leaders have stood idly by and allowed unlimited amounts of this highly dangerous chemical to pollute the air our children breathe.

Without positive action, our planet could become another Pluto - with a Nitrogen atmosphere and a surface temperature of -270 degrees.

Politicians and big business will tell you that we've always had a lot of Nitrogen in our atmosphere and it doesn't do any harm - but remember THATS WHAT THEY SAID ABOUT CO2.

Unbelievably, there are no internationally agreed limits for the concentration of Nitrogen in the world's atmosphere - and there are no national or international agencies responsible for monitoring or controlling it.

The NO2NITROGEN movement has been formed by a group of concerned world citizens with one simple demand -

A supranational agency must be established under the auspices of the UN to monitor Nitrogen concentration and investigate ways of limiting it to a maximum of 30%.

We're not asking you for money - we want to do it the way Obama did with a web based grassroots movement dedicated to making a CHANGE.

If you want to be part of this, please do your bit for our NO2NITROGEN campaign by emailing this document to your local Member of Parliament, Congressman, City Mayor, Headteacher, Religous Leader and anyone else you know who is environmentally minded and might be willing to help get this vital new grassroots movement off the ground. - then watch this site for further discussion and developments.

On behalf of all the present and future children of the world - THANKYOU

  1. This is really scary!

I have emailed a link to everyone I know who's interested in the environment.

I'm also going to raise it on the Greenpeace group.

It's great that people are caring more and more about protecting our planet from these terrible gases.
